Foundational Modules
Readings, assets, people, suppliers, documents, forms and the rules for who may do what, each kept once. Every report, workflow and Agent reads from the same record.
They’re the records the rest of the Singularity runs on: your assets, people and sites, every reading from your systems, your suppliers, your documents and forms, and the rules for who may do what. Each one keeps a single record per thing, so a request, a report and an audit finding all point at the same record instead of three spellings of it. The Workflow Modules calculate from these records and the Agents act on them. The Data Model Engine and the Trust Registry are on the roadmap; the rest you can use today.
No. mode40 connects the Integration Hub to the systems you already run, with your team, and it logs every message they exchange, so nothing gets ripped out first. Your ERP or finance system stays the system of record. The Foundational Modules hold what those systems never shared with each other, and line it up against the same assets, people and sites.
Start from the problem you want gone, not from the list. If two teams report different numbers for the same thing, that’s the Historian and the Asset Registry. If people can’t find the current procedure, it’s the Knowledge Library. If clipboards are still the record, it’s the Form Builder. Start with the two or three that fix that problem, then add the rest onto the same records later, so nothing gets rebuilt.
Security signs people in through your company’s single sign-on, over SAML or OIDC, and sets each person’s role and the sites they can see. The Authority Matrix sets which actions an Agent may take alone and which need a person, and anything that needs a person waits in the Approval Queue. Governance keeps the record of every one of those checks, so when an auditor or your IT lead asks who approved what, the answer is already written down.
mode40 sets them up with your team during implementation. The founders ran plants before they wrote any software, so the records use the names your team already uses and a field means on screen what it means in the work. How long depends on how many systems and sites are involved. The Corporate Playbook comes first: two to four weeks with access to your environment, showing where your data lives and what the gaps cost. Then you see the plan and the order of work, and decide how small to start.
30 minutes on that number, and how one record settles it.
