A little about mode40

We like solving the problems that make people say, “There has to be a better way.”

mode40 is a Canadian software and services company headquartered in Steinbach, Manitoba. Our mission is straightforward: Turn Data into Profit.

Our platform, the Singularity, connects operational data, workflows, and AI capabilities to help organizations make better decisions and get work done. We back it with strategy, integration, implementation, and ongoing support.

Our roots are in manufacturing and operations. Today, our work extends across food and beverage, aerospace and defence, healthcare, education, and the public sector.

Where you come in

Getting software ready is part of an implementation. Getting people ready to use it is just as important.

We’re looking for an Implementation Success Coordinator who understands operations and enjoys keeping people connected, details organized, and work moving forward. You’ll help customers and our delivery teams navigate implementation from kickoff through go-live and the transition to ongoing support.

You’ve worked in manufacturing, agriculture, or agri-food and have been actively involved in running a project. You understand that production demands, seasonal pressures, operational priorities, and people’s availability all affect how an implementation gets done.

You’re also strong with data. You can investigate a dataset, spot gaps or inconsistencies, interpret what the numbers mean, and explain the findings in a way that helps people make decisions.

You’ll work remotely and travel to customer sites for discovery, implementation, training, and go-live support as needed.

What you’ll work on

  • Coordinate customer onboarding, kickoff activities, and implementation schedules.
  • Maintain project trackers, action lists, milestones, and customer readiness checklists.
  • Keep responsibilities, deadlines, and next steps clear for customers and internal teams.
  • Analyze customer data to understand operational performance, identify patterns, and flag gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Interpret findings and translate them into practical recommendations and clear explanations.
  • Support data preparation, mapping, and validation so implementations are built on reliable information.
  • Help establish baseline measures and track whether implementations deliver the intended improvements.
  • Organize meetings, capture decisions, and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Work with customer teams to plan implementation activities around operational demands.
  • Coordinate configuration inputs, testing, and training activities.
  • Help prepare user guides, training materials, and customer communications.
  • Track issues through resolution and flag risks, delays, and scope requests to the appropriate delivery lead.
  • Support customers remotely and onsite during implementation, training, and go-live.
  • Gather customer feedback and help improve our implementation tools and processes.

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, implementation, or operations.
  • Direct experience working in manufacturing, agriculture, or agri-food, with an understanding of operational workflows and constraints.
  • Hands-on experience helping run a project, including coordinating activities, tracking deadlines, following up with stakeholders, and managing issues through completion.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including the ability to assess data quality, identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and connect findings to operational decisions.
  • Proficiency with Excel or comparable tools for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • The ability to explain data and technical information clearly to different audiences.
  • The ability and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Strong organization and the ability to keep multiple activities moving.
  • Confidence following up, asking questions, and raising concerns early.
  • Comfort learning software and explaining processes in plain language.
  • Careful documentation and consistent follow-through.
  • A collaborative approach and sound judgment about when to act and when to escalate.

A few things that would be handy: Experience with Power BI, SQL, MES or ERP implementations, customer training, change management, continuous improvement, or project management tools.

How we work

Ownership matters here. If you notice something slipping through the cracks, we want you to speak up and help get it sorted.

You’ll have access to the people you need, teammates willing to share their knowledge, and room to improve how we work. We value candid conversations, practical solutions, and people who make collaboration easier.

A sense of humour helps when calendars collide and the “last question” turns into three more. So does knowing when to ask for help. We care about doing good work and having a life outside it.

Location and work eligibility

Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Work arrangement: Remote, with travel to customer sites
